What are Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how do they impact our students? What can we do in the specials classroom to help heal students who have experienced trauma? Strategies for teaching self-regulation will be covered as well as an overview of TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention). Attendees will learn that many of the things we do on a regular basis in art, music, and P.E. are already benefitting students who have experienced trauma. Attendees should bring technology for interactive participation.
